EDIT: Hello everyone! I hope that your event pieces are coming along well! The original intended due date was the 9th, this Friday. But the superiors have decided to push the date back to July 20th! This is due to  the fact that both of us will be out of town at this time. If you've already finished your event piece or do so before the due date, feel free to submit it early!

First off, thank you everyone who participated in Part One!  With still so few members, we're happy with the amount of work you've all shown so far. Now, it's time to start the second part of this first event!

Remember your superiors' messages as the start of the event:

CONSORTIUM
Members of the Consortium, this is a message from your Superior, Xylven; I have had the most troubling vision. It appears a nearby world is in danger from not only encroaching darkness of lower Heartless, but now the Syndicate as well. At the moment, all seems calm, but we must hurry to the Pridelands and reach it before the hands of the Syndicate corrupt it.

We are few in number, and their numbers seem greater than our own at this point. But we must do what we can. We will be departing tomorrow morning on Crossroads and setting a course for the desert world. Please, we ask that you join us and take up your arms.

Take care, and be wary. Remember, we will not be the only ones there. Look out for one another, and may we all return home safe.

SYNDICATE
To all my Syndicate children; It's come to my attention that our domain has not yet reached the deserts of the Pridelands, and this certainly will not do. My scouts have reported that the light there is far too great a quantity, and I believe we should bring some darkness back to their grounds. Don't you all agree?

I know our numbers may seem few, but we needn't numbers to overtake the lands there and bring darkness to this world. We will all march together, and we will shroud this world in beautiful darkness. If there are any pesky Consortium members in the area, I ask that you dispose of them, and please do so quickly. I do not want to hear of my children begging for mercy from these creatures of light. I will personally dispose of any who do.

For this portion of the event:

-Divide into teams, or work on your own, to submit a well-developed piece (either art related or story related) that shows an interaction with someone from the opposite side. The goal is not to fight full on, unless your character's prefer that, but small skirmishes and/or spying on the other group. Basically, this is your character's first true moment on the battlefield against the opposite side, what will they do?

-Again the preferred method is for you all to work in teams. Not only to get to know each other better, but reduce the stress of a large-scale event piece and working together only strengthens the plot. You may choose to work together in one of the following ways: two or more members from the same side (ie both from the Consortium), two or more members from opposite sides (which would actually be quite helpful), or you can combine teams (for example the two members who teamed up from the Consortium can then team up with two members who were a team from the Syndicate.)

-The idea is to keep characters true to their character as much as possible. That is why we're giving you the option of working with a member or members from the opposite group. What would TRULY happen if your two characters met up? Remember, there is no punishment for those who "lose" and no reward for those who "win". Stay in character, and work together.

-Your group only needs to submit ONE piece between you all. Obviously if you do choose to work in large groups, the finished piece should show that. A single drawing may not convey that the way a comic would, and stories should be well-developed and thoughtful. It is not in your best interest to work alone, but if you chose to, your piece should show much more effort than your part for the first half. Obviously for everyone: no sketches or drabbles. Things should be colored and show the time you put into them! And one piece is all that is required, if you want to submit more to get your ideas across, then by all means do so!

-All pieces should be noted to the club no later than Friday, July 9th which gives you a little over a month to complete this. In the note be sure to list all who worked on and helped with the piece and who did which part.

-Again, if you did not participate in Part One, you cannot take part in this portion of the event! If for some reason you believe you have a reason and still wish to take part, then note us and we'll see what we can do. If the character did not take part in the event, you may not use them in any portion of the event piece.

Welcome to WoH's first event!

The event officially starts today. Below are the instructions for what needs to be done in order to participate, as well as some choice words from your Superiors. Please keep in mind this event will be two fold. These are the instructions for the first part only, and this journal will be updated with further instructions at a later date.

Remember. You must have completed your initiation mission, and have a rank number in order to participate in this event! If you have not done so and wish to participate, you will not be given extra time, but are more than welcome to submit while the event is going on.

If you are interested in joining, you must sign up here. You're not obligated to turn something in if you do sign up, but you cannot submit something if you have not signed up here! You can sign up at any time up until two days before the end of Part I . You need to participate in Part I if you would like to participate in Part II.

We're hoping a good number of you do join! Let's make our first event a big one!

Instructions:

-For Part I, you must either draw your character's world form or write a short story in which explains their getting used to their world form (for example, walking on four legs, the change in climate etc.) In either case, world forms must be clearly described, and be sure to include the animal they're based from! Make sure the animal is from Africa, as that's where the Lion King is set, and make sure your entry shows visible effort. No sketches are allowed, drawings must be colored, and stories of reasonable length.

-You may chose to do this individually or with others. But each person MUST submit their own piece. For example, you may draw yours and another member's world form, but they also must submit something; so they can do the writing or vice versa.

-You can enter with as many full-ranked characters you have/want. All their forms can be shown on a single piece (ie. one drawing or one story.) But every character that participates must be included somehow. And every member must submit either the drawing or story.

-All submissions for Part I of the event must be received and noted to the club by June 4th. At that point a new journal will be announced for Part II. Please refer to the Joining and Submitting journal for instructions on how to submit an event piece. If the need arises, the date may be pushed back. But we'd like to have more than one event in the summer months, and we believe two full weeks for either a simple world form, or story, is plenty of time. Remember, if you have multiple characters, it's not required you enter all of them! Think of what you have time for.

Hello everyone!

We're quite glad to see so many applications come in, but there's still quite a few of you who need to get on your initiation missions. Remember, you won't be able to participate in club events without having completed one!

As the poll gives way, our first club event will take place in The Pridelands.

The scheduled beginning of the event is May 21st.

This gives members still working on sheets, or members who need to finish their missions exactly two weeks from today to get them done. Keep in mind, you can sumbit a sheet and/or initiation mission during the event and still take part, but you will not be give any extra time to finish event pieces. The deadline will be the same. Plus, part of the event is a team effort, and therefore, you may be out of a team if you come in late!

All in all, the easiest thing to do would be getting them done beforeheand. And remember, the Superiors are here to help! If you need ideas, are stuck, or need to roleplay out your missions, we're usually in the chat.

I want to thank everyone for the interest, and I'm so  happy to see so many initiation missions coming in too!

I just wanted to make a quick note about initiation missions, as well as the brief history we ask for when you apply.

The superiors do have personalities too. The Syndicate leaders, Xazzu and Six, for example, are both quite lazy and aren't likely to go out of their way to find members. They'd send out the lesser heartless and nobodies to find new members. As for the Consortium, they dock in each world, and have members in each world who will recruit new members.

So if you have any concerns with your initiation mission, please feel free to ask either of us. Note the club, or one of us personally. You can always join us in the chat too, we're almost always there.

If you want extra help with your initiation mission, both of us are usually willing to roleplay the mission out, to help as best we can. ( This also gives you a good idea of your character's relationship with their superiors! )

First off, we'd like to thank you all for the interest so far! We're quite pleased with how the applications and missions are going.

But, before we have further applications, we must clear up a few things regarding a certain type. We've been getting quite a few applications for Heartless in the Consortium and we want to make sure there's an understanding.

First, these ARE VERY RARE. In fact, they're the rarest type the club can accept. This means there's not very many of them. Right now, since we're just opening, you do have a better chance of being accepted with one, but we'll be much stricter on these characters in the future.

Second, these Heartless DO NOT live with/interact much with the regular members of the Consortium. Nobodies, Somebodies and the Keybladers of the Consortium still do not trust Heartless completely. They understand that Heartless may have the desire to be whole, and therefore want to help their cause, but they DO NOT allow the Heartless fully into the fold.

Therefore, as stated in the Consortium journal, these Heartless have formed their own small group in which they follow the Consortium's airship to the different worlds, helping the main group in order to try and be accepted.

Third, their mission is different than the standard Initiation Mission for these reasons above. The Initiation Journal has been updated with the directions, but to state it again here, Heartless looking to join the Consortium should help a Consortium member in some way. Whether it is saving them from a fight or something else. It is NOT likely they were asked to do this.

These Heartless who complete the mission will be counted as full members in the club (as in participating in events and the like) but they will NOT receive a rank number/be allowed in the Consortium story-wise (as in roleplay.)

Please keep these things in mind when applying as a Consortium Heartless. If you have been accepted before this announcement was made, we'll be a bit more lenient.

Yes, for those of you who missed the previus journal edit, we are now open for applications.

However, due to the fact that we have gotten repeated questions, a lot of it for the same thing and issues that are covered in the journals we ask that you do the following before applying or question us in chat:

1) Please, PLEASE, read all the journals. The information is there for a reason. If there is confusion about something in a journal, yes, we do ask that you get clarification from us in chat before you apply. One of the main reasons we'll be denying you is for reasons you have failed to follow that are listed in previous journals. We by no means mind the questions! But since we're just opening and there are a lot of you, it helps if we can eliminate the questions we've already answered in the rules/FAQs.

2) Have an element in mind before asking us for help. Yes, we're more than happy to help find a word or label to the power you're thinking of, or work out kinks with you, but we're not about to hand out elements. This is your character after all.

3) KEEP IN MIND, that once you have been accepted into the club with your sheet and element, you are not a full member of the club. Meaning you have no rank number and cannot participate in club events. You must complete the initiation mission first (which does have its own journal page for more information) before any of these things can happen. Your element and character will be held while you complete the mission, however, prolonged members who stay un-ranked will be removed. It's not fair to other's who'd like the element they're sitting with.

4) We can NOT hold elements for you. Yes, we can pass along information of people who are thinking of certain elements, but they are first come first serve. Meaning even if someone is planning for an element, if someone submits a completed sheet before them, then the element is theirs. For the first few weeks, as it is a free for all at this point, we've decided to list below the elements we have heard plans for in the chat or via note. Remember, these elements are by no means reserved, but if you're slow in working on sheets or want a completely original element, it may be best to pick something other than those listed below:
